Oftentimes on wedding days, guests or members of the wedding party will tell me "the biggest regret I have from my own wedding day is not hiring a videographer." I may be biased... but I can't help to agree. A wedding day moves fast, and there are often things happening you might miss. Being able to relive the day is so, so valuable.
When it comes to filming a wedding, I take a very observational approach. I try not to stage much and focus on story first. I am not as concerned as things being perfect and polished. I make it a priority to capture moments as they happen, but cinematically, how the day felt. Weddings come in all shapes and sizes and what is most important to me is making something that feels like you.
